Come lets delve into the world of Architecture and Interior Designing

In search of eye soothing, eye catching, well planned and a beautifully designed living place?
Architecture raised its hood since the time of civilization came into existence. The architecture varies as per various traditions, regions, overarching stylistic trends, and dates. It does not only mean the construction part, it also refers to interior designing.

Various architecture forms like Ancient, Islamic, African, Chinese, Buddhist and many more evolved and had their own styles of décor. As the time passed the styles too changed accordingly.

We used to have our simple living in huts, then moved to small brick and steel buildings, and came the trend of modern and magnificent buildings. Now the mob is looking forward to make simple living more stylish, eye catching, unique in designs with luxury and comfort. Thinking outside the box is the mantra in Interior Designing. Thinking outside the box is just being more creative, stylish and having more sense of matching colors and tones. Lighting is one of the most important limbs to create good design.

Following various Interior Designing Themes like Patriotic style theme, Wooden theme, Egyptian theme, Jungle theme, American Colonial style, Casual style, Formal style, Contemporary style, traditional style, western style, French country style and much more can be inculcated depending upon the lifestyle and your interests.

Aspects concentrated in Interior designing

  • Form and Function - The form, or shape, of an object and its function, or purpose, should complement the form and function of all the other elements in a space.
  • Spatial relationship (Space) -  A good design plan requires evaluating the spatial relationships of all of the elements in a room. Each wall, window, and doorway must be measured, as well as each object that will go in the room in order to ensure its proper placement. Even the minutest details such as the location of electrical switches and outlets must be considered for the placement of lamps and other electrical equipment. Traffic flow must also be taken into account when arranging furniture.
  • Light - Whether light is natural or artificial, it will affect every design element in a space.
  • Color, Motif and Texture - Color and Motif (pattern) should be well planned. Using different textures, particularly with textiles such as fabrics, upholstery and carpet, provide visual interest in a space.

Interior design is not just about the looks of the building’s interior. Well, it is but it also plays the key role in its functionality because even the largest house can lack space if having a poor interior design, while a tiny apartment can be transformed into a cozy residence with enough space for just about everything with the right design and the use of contemporary lighting.

Hiring a good interior designer is therefore more than just a good idea for building a new house or remodelling/renovating the existing one. Depending upon the needs, lifestyle and with the aim of saving money, the designer should be able to give looks of aesthetic and appealing by being practical at the same time.
